It is important that the SHARE Fund Program does not duplicate existing services available within a community. The sole reason for our existence is to provide assistance when all other resources available have been exhausted and to support other programs that fulfill the needs consistent with SHARE’s mission.
Most SHARE programs start by raising funds and providing emergency financial assistance. As the program matures and the community recognizes the value of such a program, other outreach programs begin to realize the advantages of consolidating their resources into one, well organized program to maximize their efforts and avoid duplication. |
