SHAREFUND HISTORY
The SHARE Fund began nearly 30 years ago as an outreach program of a local church. With the help, support, and guidance of the parish, the SHARE Fund grew into a successful assistance service.
In 2008, the SHARE Fund became an independent nonprofit agency, federally registered as a 501c3 public charity.
SHARE Fund continues to grow and has become an integral service provider for people in need living in our community. Today we reach neighbors in need from throughout the Greater Rochester Area.
GOVERNANCE
An active and involved Board of Directors guides the direction of the SHARE Fund, provides fiscal oversight, participates in fundraising activities, and helps establish effective policies and practices.

We strive to have our Board of Directors, staff, and our team of volunteers appreciate and reflect the diversity within our community. We believe that only by understanding the entire cultural landscape can we better serve those in need.

Our volunteers generously share their time for the benefit of others, and without them,
the SHARE Fund could not operate!
